Syric

Syric is home to the Hybrids and the Tasalik, two species that were artificially created by the Loxodon Empire that disappeared long ago. Although the Loxodon used to rule a vast kingdom in the region, spreading over several now different countries these people were long lived but cruel and oppressive, caring more about the wisdom of stories than what was happening in the present. They regularly used slave races of the Grung, Halflings, Humans and anyone that wasn't Loxodon, but then one day in 513AE all of the Loxodon within the lands of their Empire vanished overnight. Tales of this event vary, with some reporting a sudden disappearance, and other reporting a vast magical catastrophe that sent writhing and screaming Loxodon's off the face of the planet. The Hybrids and the Tasalik were the creation of Loxodon fleshcrafter, seeing the Tasalik as their masterpiece, and the Hybrids as an expendable workforce, but despite this disparity in their rank during their creation, in the present day they are equal citizens in Syric, with Tasalik King ruling over the kingdom.
Due to the odd visual nature of these two species many other nations and species on Tirestir discriminate against Syric, and its people, although war with them is rare a typical stereotypes describe them as warlike and bloodthirsty, and some attribute them to the disappearance of the Loxodon. However, they are anything but warlike or bloodthirsty, and even the most educated scholar in Syric does not know what truly happened to the Loxodon, only that it gave them an opening to settle now empty cities, free their people, and form their own nation free from oppression.
Azir'gal is a regularly worshipped deity here, and a shrine to them can be found in nearly every city, although the worship of no god is banned among the people of Syric. Despite their social standing with the other nations, any humanoid that seeks to settle in these lands is generally welcome, as it is currently one of the under populated nations on the planet, with cheap land and low taxes to hopefully entice settlers willing to work under the King of Syric.
Due to the multi-armed nature of the people of Syric they have developed unique way to cast spells, as they can string together far more intricate somatic components, some of the casters of Syric only need to use somatic components to cast spells that otherwise need verbal components, though this is a closely guarded secret.

Fauna & Flora

Whispering Viper
The Whispering Viper is a slender and venomous serpent that dwells in the dense jungles of Syric. Its scales are a mesmerizing blend of green and silver, camouflaging it among the foliage. What sets this viper apart is its ability to emit a low, melodic hum, resembling whispers carried by the wind. Legends say that those who can understand the whispers of the Whispering Viper gain wisdom and foresight, making the snake both revered and feared by the inhabitants of Syric.

Psionthorn Vine
The Psionthorn Vine is a remarkable plant native to the lush forests of Syric. It is believed to be a result of the Loxodon Empire's experiments in genetic manipulation and their fascination with psychic abilities. The vine's name comes from its unique properties, combining psionic energy and thorny defenses.
The Psionthorn Vine has vibrant, iridescent purple leaves that shimmer with a faint psychic glow. Its thorny branches extend in a complex and intricate pattern, resembling the neural pathways of the mind. Each thorn on the vine is infused with latent psionic energy, making it both beautiful and dangerous.
The Psionthorn Vine possesses a psychic aura that can influence the thoughts and emotions of those who come into contact with it.
