Union's Rise

Union's Rise was once a grand temple to the god Etus, preforming marriage ceremonies for many of the lands of the Celestwood and beyond. A holy place for the order of Etus, Union's Rise featured a large sprawling temple grounds with cabins, a beautiful lake, and wedding night retreats built further up the mountains. The temple was destroyed during a raid by a group bearing a symbol of a human silhouette aloft in an orb of fire, and subsequently defiled and burned the temple, killing many of the priests seemingly in the middle of the night. The destruction was only discovered when a couple, seeking a holy marriage union, ascended the mountain to find the temple burning. 
Later new initiates to the Freesword Guild, accompanied by Warden Sicarias scouted out the temple in order to begin to track down the culprits of its destruction.
