Xhuras, God of Thieves and Tricksters
God of Thieves and Tricksters
They appear as a red-furred fox, generally not speaking to their followers or those that spot them but they rarely do. They are also a known shapeshifter, taking the form of a Limothiit, and other bipedal forms. They are a patron to thieves, jesters, and those who seek to sow chaos and disharmony in the world. There is a common practice in many cities on Tirestir to have an Xhuras purse, which is a small secondary coin purse worn on the belt, as an offering to Xhuras. It invites being stolen, and it is considered bad luck to try and rob someone of their coin purse should they have an Xhuras purse, with instead that being stolen as an offering to Xhuras, who does not demand that thieves relinquish the gold in this purse to him, just they steal it as a sign of devotion.
