Karsus

Lord Karsus was a Netherese wizard responsible for the fall of the Netherese empire. In -339 DR, he cast the spell known as Karsus' Avatar, stealing the goddess Mystryl's powers and domain. Unfortunately, he proved unable to shoulder the responsibilities and was killed, causing the destruction of Netheril in what came to be known as Karsus' Folly.
