Personal history
Toonk grew up a happy member of her tribe where she met her mate, Chell, and had a child. A year later, a vast army of human led soldiers swept through, destroying the tribe. Her mate killed in the slaughter, Toonk and her child watched as the army raised an industrial settlement, bringing in happy humanoids to live on her peoples land, unaware of the blood that had been spilled.
Toonk and her child trekked South through the mountain pass, and upon finding a large, vaguely skull shaped rock she decided would warn other humanoids away, began building a home some distance away from a swamp that would provide protection and a place to hide should more humanoids discover them. Over time, Toonk watched the swamp expand with growing concern. Adventurers would enter, some would return, but eventually the undead began to rise, and men and women in the familiar armor that slaughtered her people began to move through the area.
One day while out collecting food, Toonk returned home to discover her child was missing. She searched everywhere, from Skull Mountain, to the Dinosaur Jungle, and the new lake in between, but not a trace could be found. Finally, she ventured into the swamp, praying to Mielikki for protection, and witnessed the strange monsters and undead roaming about, with no lead on her child’s whereabouts.
Equipping herself with a suit of armor and a shield made from bone that had been harvested by a Lizardfolk named Marinxar, Toonk made her way to Titan, taking on the illusory appearance of a young woman. Disguised as a human, she began to learn of many troubles infesting the city and the land around it. Perhaps assisting the adventurers that had attempted to reclaim the swamp in the past would convince them to help her finish the job and find her child.
