Warlord Boardgame
A boardgame simulation of the invasion of Titan created in the Tithen Empire, post betrayal. Though a fun game to those who can get their hands on it, the game was designed to mock the Citor Empire
History
Warlord was created in the Tithen Empire after The Betrayal occurred. Tithe was well known for the games that were created there and post war was no different. This game became notorious for its obvious jab at Citor for their role in the conflict.
Components and tools
The game is made up of a board which has a map of The Continent and is broken up into territories. The players all have player boards, cards and small cubes matching the colour of their board.
Each player picks the territories they start in and gets that card. As gameplay progresses, players will invade other territories and gain more cards. Each card is placed on the players character board and is revealed during that actions phase. The action phase is determined by lining the action cards face down and revealing after each action is completed.
The gane also has a special tube with many layers, designed to lodge cubes temporarily. A battle is determined by a player putting his attacking cubes in the tower with the defending cubes. The winner is whoever has more cubes come out. Beware though, those cubes will fall out in future battles due to the structure of the tube.
The Turn Cloak cubes are green cubes that get put in with every battle and count towards the attackers army. The fact that they are called turn cloaks and bare the same green that the Citor Empire's army wore make people believe it is a shot at the Citorian people.
The player with the most territory after 5 rounds wins.
