Teyavion Kobran is a Telziado criminal and necromancer. Active for many years in Sinofis, capital city of the Kingdom of Telziad, she was finally arrested in 414 AC and has been held in prison ever since for her various crimes.

History

Teyavion is the eldest daughter of Duta Kobran, a wealthy businessman based in the city of New Fovenis. While not a member of the nobility, her father's business made her a visible figure of the New Fovenis upper class, and by extension the upper class of South Telziad. She was given access to a stellar education, and formed close ties with the children of many nobles.
She was raised in the expectation she would either inherit the Kobran business or found her own, but as she grew older, both seemed less and less likely. She regularly got into trouble out in the streets, and her results at school were abysmal. Teyavion was shifted around to many schools in the hope they could help her fulfill her potential, but the only topic she was interested in was magic.
Duta reluctantly allowed her to attend a magician's college, but when Teyavion was caught cheating on an exam, she was made to return to New Fovenis and start working in the family business instead. By all accounts, she was decent enough at her work, but had no passion for it. This changed in her mids 20s, when she befriended Owen Dalenan, the son of a Vosti nobleman. Through their collaboration, she was able to set up significant cooperation between the two businesses that benefited them both.
Her father was very impressed, and in 412 AC she requested the ability to move to the kingdom's capital of Sinofis to set up a branch of the business, he approved it right away. Teyavion, accompanied by her fiance Owen, travelled up north to continue the business collaborations.
But this was a front. While some legitimate business did occur, Teyavion had actually moved to Sinofis in order to connect with a criminal gang known as the Skarhan Scavengers, who had recently been displaced from the Republic of Skarhu. She swiftly began funneling money from her branch into their criminal operations, and hired many members of the gang as staff to provide them the alibis and legitimacy they needed to operate.
Her extensive cooperation with the shady underbelly of Sinofis was something of an open secret, and she was frequently investigated by the Sinofis City Guard without any conclusive evidence being found. Duta continued to support his daughter, but their relationship grew fraught.
In 414 AC, Teyavion and Owen abruptly disappeared, during the uptick in Scavenger arrests. While efforts were made to locate the pair, there was little sign of them, and Duta was forced to come to Sinofis to handle the branch. When Teyavion did reappear it was not as the victim of some kidnapping, but as a necromancer under arrest for an extensive list of crimes, including murder and attempted assassination.

Teyavion's month in the shadows still confuses many who follow her story, with many reasons given for her disappearance and newly acquired skills upon return. Most believe her disappearance was prompted by the death of Owen, who was never found, and that her acquisition of necromancy was related directly to his death. Only Teyavion knows, and she doesn't tell.
