Zalen is a master of getting others to bend to his wishes, often without them even realising it. Using a blend of charm, seduction, and his impressive intellect he is expertly persuasive, capable of winning over even the most skeptical of individuals. His silver tongue allows him to exploit others' weaknesses easily, though he prefers to prey on the desires of his victims, snaring them within his web of deceit and half-truths to achieve his goals.

Background and Motivation

He is driven by a thirst for power and control, preferring to manipulate situations from the sidelines. Zalen prefers to not draw too much attention to himself, keeping his ultimate motivations secret with his whims and desires to change frequently. While dabbling in Kromas political circles for a while, navigating the intricacies and eliminating rivals with ease, his ambition grew too large forcing him to slink back into the shadows. Now serving within an unnamed surveillance branch of the Kromas military, he bides his time, gathering information for a yet unknown purpose. Unbeknownst to his fellow Kromas, Zalen shows no regard for one of the fundamental Kromas tenants regarding the role of the Kromas not to undertake research or hard labor themselves. In addition to his expertise in manipulation and seduction, Zalen has proven himself an expert hacker and chemist, dabbling mostly in poisons and tonics to corrupt the minds of his victims.
