satamners (sa-TAM-ners)

Colloquially knowns as "Satties," satamners, are large amphibious creatures which resemble a salamander with scales. They are the main domesticated pack animal of Apasa, and are mostly found in the islands and channels of the Blue Sea. They are large enough for multiple riders and have also been trained to pull sea-faring vehicles in lieu of sails for short trips between the islands.
