The Clergy

Religious elders of the Hyum who began to use their power of swaying (disguised as the power of their gods) to manipulate society in their favor.
Started by a group of leaders who called themselves the Elemental Priests, they began building fortified cathedrals, a massive army and a powerful navy.
They eventually created a large theocratic kingdom which spawned The King, his two sons the Elder Prince and the Prince of Youth, from whom came The Kindred and The Descendants respectively.
