Blackroot Treant

Blackroot Treants are a horrific Undead version of Treants. They are usually created by magic, although they sometimes seem to appear naturally in the Murkendraw, where the energies of the Shadowfell bleed into the Feywild. Although they appear to be twisted plants, they are suffused with undead energies, and they are immune to most effects that affect plants. They do, however, share a normal treant’s aversion to fire.
