Hadithi (huh-DEE-thee)

The Hadithi are a species of small, plant-like humanoids native to the Veldonati Jungle of Velnar, referred to as vegepygmies by some travelers who encounter them. They are a territorial species, more in kin with fungi than other kinds of plants, who reproduce by spores. According to some legends, the mold that begat them came from a chunk of another world that was found scarring the Veldonati. Whatever the truth, few have been able to communicate with them, and fewer have had any successful negotiations with them.
