Law of Undeath

This supernatural law rules that all things must die when their time comes. If a creature were to die before their time, they instead become undead in an attempt to still allow them to live out the rest of their time. In addition, the souls and mind of the creature are kept in tact during the process of becoming undead.
This law was put in place by Vitem Morta during the Age of Respite.
