Kilead

Kilead is a coastal city in the land of Tolava. It's a harsh place to be - it is a city run by two factions: the Circle of Tulisija and the Eye of Corvus. Kilead is made up of numerous multi-story buildings, a large port, large streets & many twisting alleys. Kilead is not the capital of Tolava, although it is one of the largest cities in the realm due to its abundant trade opportunities with other kingdoms across the Mimilo Sea. It can be a rough and tumble life in Kilead, depending on where you live. The lower city is known to be a bit dark, and can be dangerous, and the Mayor's Circle is a bit more upperclass, featuring boutique shops, a lake, and even a university. Once a year, in the month of Ambriel, the residents of Kilead enjoy a festival dedicated to Umberlee, the goddess of the sea, as a way to honor her and give her tribute in hope for a prosperous trading season and calm seas.
