Ageroth Mountains

The Ageroth Mountains are a rugged and diverse landscape. Home to some of the hardiest races in Tomeria, it is predominantly ruled by the Dragonborn and Aaracockra tribes. Operating under a council that meets every half year, the leaders of all the tribes meet to discuss different treaties, hunting rights, etc. The Ageroth Mountains have an extensive history much of it wrought hand in hand with what is commonly thought of as myth or legend. To a native of the mountains what is history to them would sound far fetched to someone of the Common Races living in the Empire. Dragons, Rocs, and various other fantastical creatures make their home here and was once ruled by the mightiest of these creatures.
In the modern era Dragonborns and Aaracockra are still at odds just like the Dragon's and Roc's of the time before recorded history. While their numbers have slowly crept back up from the devastating War of the Ancients, particularly the Dragonborns due to unknown reasons, the Goliaths and Deep Gnomes have grown at a much faster rate and gained much land and power in this new age.
