The arcane energy band is not only similar to light as it functions on the basis of a wave. A wave in these terms is taken from how an ocean wave works with the upper wave you can see that crashes down and causes another inverted wave underneath the ocean surface.
This leads to how much magic works through the arcane band and is seen in all schools of magic. However through much research we have discovered that there are different size waves across the
T'elrov Band. These waves are theorized to be the difference in "spells" cast and each school uses a different portion of the band. There is assumed to be 7 different bands in the order of
Necromancy, Conjuration, Abjuration, Transmutation, Evocation, Illusion, and Divination.
However this leaves certain types of magic or forces left out such as Psionics or Enchantment. However, we believe that Enchantment doesn't have it's own band as it is simply the infusion of energy from the aforementioned band.
Further research and questioning of the previous work though has left scholars wondering how this actually manifests itself in a physical property such as fire or earth. This led my fellow scholar Kassandra Copeland to ask the question if rather than simply acting as a "wave" it also acted as a very dense but ethereal particle.
After further testing it is confirmed as a plausible scientific theory that the Arcane Energy in the
T'elrov Band is in fact also a dense and ethereal particle. This would go far into explaining how the Ethereal Plane always appear very "misty" or "blurry" and it is due to the massive amounts of very small but dense particles in the given space.
These particles are theorized to each have their own vibration and density that scales based on the arcane user that is taking control during a spell. This allows the arcane energy to be given a physical property as the ethereal particles materialize in the material plane and work in tandem with the wave properties that are used to define the style or school of arcane energy being used.
