Blackwater River
The Blackwater River is the second large river that flows through the . Unlike the Clearwater River it is a very murky river as it picks up much of the soil and other organic matter that decomposes in it making it a very nutrient rich and acidic river.
This nutrient rich river allows the Jira Plains to prosper even with very nutrient demanding plant life due to the river flooding for several months out of the year spreading it's nutrients across the plains.
