Fire Genasi

The Fire Genasi are a subrace of Genasi native to the The High Seas Archipelago on a chain of volcanoes known as the Volcanoes of Tiamat.

Culture and cultural heritage

The culture of the Fire Genasi is similar to others in the intertwining of magick in their daily life. This also leads to the focus on their hobbies and daily curiosities rather than having to focus on menial tasks such as foraging or farming. 
This has led to much time to work in the development of specific cultural high points for the Fire Genasi, the most famous being the Visions of the Mind shows.

Common Dress code

Fire Genasi loves bright and vivid colors and their clothing represents that. Since it isn't uncommon for a Fire Genasi's hair to be purely flames it is a common way of them to express themselves, often picking a color they feel best represents themselves and matching it with their clothing.

Art & Architecture

Fire Genasi villages are typically not very extravagant unlike the people themselves. Fire Genasi dont enjoy the monotony of building large and unique architecture and instead focus on spending time actually enjoying their hobbies. Their buildings are typically smaller and built out of slate and other rocks that are much more fire retardant due to the close proximity of the volcanoes.
As for art, Fire Genasi love intertwining traditional art and the innate magic they all contain. This has led to the Genasi Bard College becoming a famous institution throughout all of the Archipelago and even The Continent.

Fire Genasi are known for their flamboyancy and typically find vivid and brightness on a person attractive. This includes Genasi controlling the color of the flames that naturally appear around them typically in their hair or on their skin.

Gender Ideals

Like most Genasi, Fire Genasi do not put much care into genders and their roles and typically find much more meaning in the day to day action.

Courtship Ideals

When courting another, Fire Genasi are known for putting on large charades and going to great lengths to make a large deal out of it to try and catch their hopeful lovers attention. Since they are inherently magical creatures it is not uncommon for huge weekly events to include large fires being started as a hopeful lovers plans go awry as it also isn't uncommon for competitors to try and foil another's plans.
