Gedo's Trail
Gedo's Trail is a long and winding historical attraction that is known from the legend of the chase of Graten the Quick by Gedo the Great.
Geography
Gredo's Mountain trail is a long winding path through the Gracho Mountains. Throughout the mountain pass the trail winds through snow covered peaks, dark pine forests, rapid rivers, towering cliff sides, and ends at a large cave obscured with an epic waterfall.
Localized Phenomena
During the stormy season one can find the trial extremely treacherous to travel through as massive supercells take over the trail. This causes the cliff faces especially to become quite slippery and treacherous.
Beyond that, a common legend is that if you go to the waterfall at the time Graten was shot you can still hear the battlefield ringing out.
History
This legendary trail was trod by none other than the famous Gedo the Great . Along this route he was chasing the most infamous of outlaws, Graten the Quick after he had both captured the Gadenau Mayor's daughter and stolen several chests of his most valuable goods.
Tourism
While Graten was caught and killed in the cave, the Mayor's daughter and cache was never recovered to the mystery of everyone to this day. This has brought significant attraction to treasure hunters from The Continent that hear about it as the jade said to be in the Mayor's cache was some of the most pure crystalline worth thousands.
It is extremely popular trail for younger people from The Continent that find the idea of cowboys and outlaws attractive. Fairly recently it has caused a new crime wave though as characters from The Continent wish to be the next Graten or infamous outlaw and use the trail as a vantage point to get easy pickings on the rich that wish to explore the trail.
