Blade-Speak

Summary

Blade-Speak is a language used by the followers of The Godcasters of Sethir, and was made in mimicry of the Godcasters blade signals. The language consists of movements of a glowing enchanted rod or blade in one hand, with meaning drawn from changes in light emitted as well as changes in movement.

Users

Blade-Speak is used almost exclusively in Sethir, however there are speakers amongst the caster cults in Melnir and Tierdun. It is most commonly used by the priests who dedicate themselves to Kilric, Endros and Olrad, but most of their followers know the fundamentals of the language. Outsiders are welcomed to learn the language, as it is seen as an expression of worship to the Godcasters and it is believed that regular use of Blade-Speak can draw one closer to their god, or generate a connection with the Godcasters and those who do not yet worship them.
