Gessar
Summary
Tittles
Goddess of Spellcraft and Lore, Creator of Malruun, High god of Sar'aan's Pantheon, Scholar of the gods.Description
Gessar is the goddess of spellcraft and lore, and is one of the later additions to the High gods of Sar'aans pantheon. Despite what many believe she is not the creator of magic, but is instead the inventor of 'spellcratf', a more streamlined method of utilizing magic. She created spellcraft as a more intuitive way to use magic and was the primary reason the gods could out-cast the The Titan minds in short skirmishes. She is more stoic in nature, and is a quick thinker. Although she does care for her followers and kin she seldom lets these feelings show, this is not born out of cruelty or even immaturity but a strict moral code not unlike Olrad, who she has a particular closeness too (similarly to Sar'aan).Appearance
Gessar takes the form of a tall woman with dark skin that has a faint blue hue. She appears to have a halo made of a glowing rose gold metal, slanting down toward the back. She wears hooded purple robes with a breastplate and greaves of rose gold over her robes. She has a silver staff inlaid with rose-gold and a head in the form of an elongated crown in one hand, and a silver short sword with a thin, lightly curved blade in the other.History
She was among the last of the High gods to make her legion, originally not intending to. However as the war escalated she realised the Legions of the gods would need to be expanded, and began work on the Malruun. She took inspiration from Nioss' Seltien and the Astrals of the Proto-world. She began to seek out souls caught in unstable reality patches where Astrals had failed to become fully realised, and shape them into something between the Celcene-Seltien and the Astrals they would have become.
