Achille, also known as the ruler of mankind, is a hero-god of Mankind.
Much of his life as a mortal is shrouded in legend and hearsay, but one feat is undisputed: he became the first person to successfully unite all of humans under a single banner. Achille is worshipped as the protector and patron of just rulership and civil society, and the patron of questing heroes.

Achille’s followers are male and female, rich and poor, young and old. But her three most fervent types of worshippers are governer, outcast, and warriors. To outcast, he represents justice and the hope that life will balance for those who have been touched by calamity and misfortune. To warriors, Achille is the force of nature that drives mankind to war.

Clergy

There are many shrines dedicated to Achille. Each is attended by a member of Achille’s clergy. Inside, Achille’s temples are adorned with statues with the god’s eyes looking back at the worshipper. It is reputed that these eyes can see into the souls of those who’ve committed injustices.
Achille is a wise counselor. His followers emulate this wisdom, building their courts around his teachings. In fact, merchants and nobles alike come to Achille’s temples to resolve disputes rather than deal with civic courts. Achille’s clergy are so regarded and respected that their rulings are almost always upheld by the parties in dispute.

History

During the War of the Ancients, Achille fought the demons, holding one despite the relentless assault of the abyssal monster, as a war hero, and the one who united mankind, he became their first ruler, and later founded the first Human empire, his dynasty would rule it for centuries, marking the beginning of the Orrin Civilization and Era. Upon his death, he is believed to have ascended to godhood as the most important Hero-God of Mankind. His cult forming one of the major cult during the Orrin Era.
One theory presumes that Achille absorbed the essence of the demon he fought, granting him the power to become a deity. Achille' own priesthood, however, claims that his divinity was a reward from the Gods themselves upon his death.
During the Orrin Era, Juliano's avatar is said to have had an important impact on the ancient civilization, guiding them in time of trouble, and helping them in time of need.

The Great Extinction

During the great extinction, Achille's Ascendant legion descended on the material plane to save as many as they could, safeguarding small groups of humans against both giants and dragons and allowing them to rebuild human civilization after the end of the dragon era.

The Great Reunion

After the Era of the Dragon, the humans reunited and started a quest to conquer to land to the west. Achille's legion withdrew from the amterial plane, letting the battle of men unfold as Achille watched with nostalgia. Numerous soldiers pray Achille among Tana's Empire army, even nowadays.
But, as the time of war and conquest stop, and as the empire turned to commerce and trade, Waukeen became the human most worshipped deity. Achille nevertheless is and stays an important deity.
