Children of the Coven

Goals

The Children of the Coven, a secretive cult dedicated to the crones of the Feywild, have one overarching goal: to fulfill the Hag order and bring the Feywild to its knees for the crones. They aim to overthrow the established powers, including the four courts of the Feywild, and establish the dominance of the crones and their dark influence.

Admittance

To be admitted into the Children of the Coven, one must perform a gruesome and symbolic act of devotion to the crones. Prospective members must cut off one of their own ear and impale it on a tree within the Murkendraw Swamp, where the crones reside. This allows the crones to hear everything within their territory.

Relationships

The Children of the Coven are in a bitter clash with the four courts of the Feywild, especially the Summer Court who once waged war against the crones. Their goals and allegiance to the crones put them at odds with the established rulers of the Feywild, leading to an ongoing, hidden conflict within the realm.

Perks

Members of the Children of the Coven may take the crones as their Warlock patrons, receiving dark Magic and eldritch powers that serve the interests of their eerie mistresses. Additionally, they have access to ancient and forbidden knowledge of the Feywild, including rituals and enchantments tied to the crones' magic.

Base of Operation

The cult's base of operations is located deep within the Murkendraw Swamp.

Quests

Members of the cult are tasked with a variety of quests that further the interests of the crones. These quests may involve retrieving rare and magical artifacts, eliminating threats to the cult, or infiltrating the courts of the Feywild to gather information and sow discord.
