Bronzed Brew Tavern

The Bronze Brew Tavern, a modest rectangular establishment, once hosted the tunes of wandering minstrels and provided a gathering place for local farmers to unwind with watered-down ale at the end of their day. In the year 1135 AD, a partial fire threatened the tavern, but the swift action of the farmers and hired mercenaries prevented its complete destruction. Unfortunately, the tavern remains non-operational, and the owner has no intentions of welcoming bards once it reopens.

Gallows

The town lack a jail, and outcomers or bandits that have the misfortune of getting caught in town are swiftly dealt with. The large tree in the center of the village serve both as a crow perch and as a gallow, the skeleton of previous bandits hanging from times to times as the crow feast.   Thick, corded rope (AC 12, 2 hp) can whistand a weight of up to 650 pounds. Stool are placed under the branch when the punishment is necessary, and kicked. A projectile aimed at the rope from a distance farther than 30 ft. adds +1 to the rope's AC per 10 ft. If a rope is swinging due to a body hanging, this attack is made at disadvantage.

Mercantile Supply

The Mercnatile Supply is an old wooden shop built a hundred or so years ago. The door is broken and a boot on the floor prevent the door from moving.

History

Butcher of Crow Perch

A group of adventurers slew 2 bandits in here, acquiring the title of Butcher of Crow Perch. Ever since the village is feared by bandits and criminal alike.

Minstrel

A troupe of traveling bards took sympathy on the quaint village and performed for days at the Bronzed Brew Tavern, captivated by the charm of the countryside. However, their songs, particularly those criticizing the elves and Queen Manael Soliadon Tana, did not resonate well with the locals. As a result, the band was promptly ejected from the tavern.   Spiteful, they attempted to perform again, belting out their songs loudly in front of the tavern. This quickly escalated the conflict, leading to Tulion, a half-elf singer and leader of the traveling bards, being assaulted by the guards. Subsequently, Tulion and his troupe were banned from the city.   Tulion and his troupe harbored a deep grudge against the city and plotted their revenge. Camping in a nearby cave or the ruins of a woodman's hut south of the city, they systematically stole the village's seed and food supply over numerous nights, maliciously causing the villagers to suffer from starvation. Rumors of ghosts haunting the small settlement began to circulate.   The guards, overwhelmed by the situation, offered a modest sum of gold for assistance. The "Jenkin's Band," a group of mercenaries, accepted the offer and began tracking the criminals, unaware that they were dealing with a troupe of vengeful bards.   The Jenkin's Band ultimately apprehended three of the four members in the woods, resulting in the Death of two and the capture of the last remaining culprit. Unfortunately, it was too late, as Tulion had already made his way to the town to carry out his final plan of burning the tavern.   Using stolen spell scrolls to summon arsonist pixies, Tulion burned the tavern and hid within the villagers thanks to a disguise. The Jenkin's Band returned to town with their prisoner, ready to deliver him to the guards and search for the leader, but ended up joining forces with the villagers to deal with the summoned pixies and extinguish the fire.   Only after the fire was under control did the mercenaries talk with the guards, agreeing to catch the leader if they would receive more coins for their work. Unable to provide more money, the guards offered a Magic item in exchange. The mercenaries then investigated the ruins of the woodman's hut and discovered that Tulion was likely disguised and among the villagers.   With this information, they inspected each villager and apprehended the singer. Both culprits were hanged on the large tree in the center of the town as the mercenaries received their payment.
