Freya

Freya is an angel, and the former lover of the lord of the seven hells, Asmodeus. After his betrayal, she and Zariel had to watch as the Celestial War started to unfold, opposing devils and angels. Stabbed by the one she once loved, Freya sworn to eradicate the evils, and asked Pelor's help in doing so, the god of the sun granting her the help of his new champion, Sol.

History

Betrayed lover

Freya is a very powerful angel, once working under the influence of He Who Was, she was, alongside Asmodeus and Zariel the god's best celestial protector. Often called Shaper of blood, thanks to her innate ability to control the blood of those she fought. With Asmodeus and Zariel, the three of them were often sent to repair the mistakes of the mortal living in the god's realm. When Asmodeus was getting sick of the useless bloodshed of mortal, freya was seeing them evolve, seeing them grow day after day.

Asmodeus and her became lover, a relation which enraged Zariel who shared a romantic interest to Asmodeus. Yet their iddyle was short lived, when Asmodeus started to plot against his god, seeking control over the mortal to stop their battles. Freya did not share her lover point of view, she believed the battle were the mortal path to a better future for themselves, that they would learn of their mistakes. Her lover did not listen and enrolled numerous angels to fight against He Who Was.

Freya learned of the attack rather late but rushed to see Asmodeus, a desperate attempt to make him realize his madness. It was too late, Freya came when he was turning into the first devil thanks to the shard of caused evil, granting him immense power. She knew she had to stop him, and the two started to fight, Freya, with tears flowing down her cheeks, managed to win, but couldn't lend the fatal blow, watching over the one she loved new form, crying for him to come back. Her tears where meet only with despair, as see was backstabbe by Asmodeus.

Pelor's angel

Left for dead, irrevocably wounded, Freya's vision faded to black. When she gained consciousness again, Zariel was by her side, she had rescued her, and their god was dead, a new race, the devils, were born. Freya mourned the loss of her lover for seven days, locking herself on mount Celestia. After this, she came with a new goal, to eradicate the devil, to her, the one she loved was dead, and it was her task to seek vengeance. She seeked the gods' help, going to Pelor, she sworn an oath to serve him, and to eradicate the devils.In exchange for her servitude, Pelor reached for the light of her celestial circlet, turning it into flames in his hand. Freya's circlet regrow anew, but the flames did not stopped, and grow larger and stronger, with Pelor's blessing, they took on a humanoid shape, but with elemental fury. The god of sun latest champion was born from Freya's will, Sol, a fire elemental and champion of the god.

The Celestial War

With her new ally, she partook in the Celestial War, the two of the playing an important role in the ongoing war, as their combined fury was only stoppable by the power of archdevils. yet their infernal conquest was stopped by none other than Zariel, the former angel became an archdevil, fighting alongside Asmodeus to stop the angelic troops.
