Glynnis was brought to
Nìmloth by member of the
Sisters of Selune who discovered her swaddled between her deceased parents, strangers to the land who had perished in the frost.
As Glynnis grew up in the faith of
Selune, she questioned the teachings of the Sisters of Selune, finding their answers unsatisfying. Seeking solace, she found comfort in the cool of the night adorned with stars and the gentle silvery light of the moon. Driven by her curiosity, she delved deep into research and became an erudite among the Sisters of Selune.
During her studies, she formed a close bond with Leona, and their relationship blossomed into something more romantic as they grew closer.
Characteristics
Physical features
An elven woman, eyes heavy with haughty regard, observes her surroundings as one who is accustomed to judging all before her. Silvery hair falls above her shoulders in a well-maintained, acerbic bob. Finely tailored robes, rich in elvish design, flow down from a jerkin of tight leather armor. A slim bandolier across her chest bears one dagger, its silver hilt ornately jeweled. Atop the wooden staff in her hand, a gem glistens with the same icy blue sheen as her eyes.
History
Glynnis did not belong in Nìmloth. A group from the Sister of Selune who discovered her swaddled between her frost-claimed parents—strangers to this land, who had clearly traveled a long way. The sisters brought her to their temple, dedicated her, and raised her as a member of the sisters of selune.
Like any sister, she underwent rigorous physical and religious training. However, unlike others, Glynnis was determined to understand why the sisters act the way they do, and the reasoning behind their beliefs. She spent her evenings digging through the libraries, devouring texts with only pale moonlight to read by.
Leona is a devout of the
Divine Lights, but she was a beacon of light for Glynnis, they often found themselves in impassioned debate. Though one never swayed the other in their long and frequent conversations, they developed a close friendship, and their relationship blossomed into something more romantic as they grew closer.
Devote of Selune, Glynnis started a pelerinage, an ascenssion of the
Frosthold mountain range to get closer to the moon. The climb tested her in every way imaginable, and
time seemed to stand still as she scaled the peak. To survive, she focused her thoughts on Leona.
The summit greeted her with the brightest, fullest moon she’d ever seen. After a rapturous moment, a pillar of moonlight slammed into her and she felt the presence of Selune taking hold of her, sharing glimpses of the past. Glynnis realized this presence could only be Selune.
