Savage Savannah, he once received a prophecy foretelling his peaceful passing—a coward's fate, and a great insult among his people. Seeking
Death, and fueled by rage, he rampaged across the land, slaughtering scores of great warriors and legendary beasts in search of any opponent who could stop him.
Characteristics
Physical features
The pronounced muscles of his broad shoulders and back ripple with the simple action of brushing a whetstone along the blade of his greataxe. He wears no armor, a practice that has resulted in many scars from what must have been dozens of battles. He lifts his head from his task, turning it slightly to reveal a tusked mouth and heavy brow.
Mental traits
Irritable and easily angered, Gnarg lives for nothing but the heat and rage of battle. A competent fighter and fierce warrior, he is never scared to go into a fight and, in fact, enjoys it. More than anything, he is determined to obtain nothing less than a warrior's death fitting for as fierce a warrior as him.
History
Early Life
Gnarg grew up in the
Redfang clan, where battle and death are common and happen frequently. Gnarg is a warrior and would often boast about the many battles he fought and won. However, his demeanor and lack of hesitation to share his many stories would anger and annoy some in his clan.
A Warrior's Death
After boasting one night about one of his many battles, Gnarg was confronted by an elder warrior who told him to prove his worth and see what his future held for him - how he would die, whether in battle or peacefully of old age. Gnarg accepted the challenge and was angered when his fortune told of a long life and peaceful death. Determined to achieve a warrior's death, Gnarg launched himself into war, raiding more than ever before.
Gnarg tried to find a warrior's death against many creatures, but when he became enraged, nothing could hurt or stop him, and he found that he was able to defeat every single beast that he challenged.
Gnarg had a daughter,
Hardah Halforcen , whom he shunned as she lacked the strength and might of true orcs.
Hardah left the clan and came back years later with a group of adventurers, she had accomplished many feats and fought dangerous monsters, yet Gnarg claimed he had done the same, and was still unimpressed by his daughter, as he instead walked to the village's fighting pit to witness the chieftain
Rhorog Oknar RedFang fighting
Sharla Scarletdottir .
