Characteristics

Mental traits

Hallett is very volubile and likes to flutter about in a friendly way, if not more. Hallett is not someone who would be described as reliable, if anything he is a little selfish and a coward around the edges.

History

Hallett is a famous bard, who gained famed as he played in the Lost Lady in Boralus. During his time as the only bard of the comfortable inn, he had an affair with Sam Bellamy, a pirate starting in 1131 AD.   In 1135 AD his life changed as Sam, Rudy and Wellan asked him for help to hide from Boralus' guards.   Hallett provided them with his room, in which he panicked at the sight of the very injured tiefling, his left arm missing. Unsure what to do as he was now an accomplice of the pirates, he ended up following them as they boarded a ship, the Garrot.   It was the pirates' plan to steal the ship, and with Hallett still on board, they set sail to escape Boralus as quickly as possible. The Garrot and its crew journeyed to Nicodranas, but with supplies running low, they resorted to acting like the pirates they were, pillaging a ship for food and supplies and setting the survivors free.   Hallett refused to pillage the ship, and stayed in the back lines, helping the wounded pirates as he could to provide support. Despite the hardship faced as a new sailor, Hallett was liked by the other pirates, as his songs lighten up the mood.   The ship finally reached Nicodranas, and the crew used the stolen goods to pay for the Garrot's repairs, as Hallett decided to stay in Nicodranas instead of continuing as a pirate.
