Equal parts jolly and imposing, Gothak is a massive, rowdy innkeeper and novice brewer on his own quest for the perfect pint of ale. Hailing from the Frostwolf Clan of goliaths, he now searches for rare ingredients among the rich Empire of Tana.

Gothak used to be known for his rowdiness, and ability to start brawl in his clan. Despite this, he is friendly when sharing his ale, and love his work, he will treat with respect and a soft smile the customer of his inn.
History
One night, when he had drained all the kegs and was left wanting, Gothak was struck by a thought rather than the usual barstool: why couldn't he brew himself something that would finally get him truly drunk? It was then that he vowed to create the ultimate ale.
Gothak's quest eventually brought him to the Tana's Empire, where the promise of acquiring rich spices and rare ingredients lured him. He discovered that using magic could keep his ale perfectly chilled, without changing the flavors, and settled in Holypertuis.
Loving his job as an innkeeper, and his little experimentation to modify the ale he buys and serves something fresh and tasty to his customers, Gothak is a rude-looking, yet soft goliath who enjoys his work.
His inn used to be a gathering place for the Magpies, and he lacked the strength to kick them off on his own. Thankfully, an adventurer named @Sharla came and helped him. Ever since that day, he is proud to be the owner of a correct place.
Thanks to this adventurer, Gothak chose to help adventurers in the future, and his inn joined the network of the Keepers of the Inn.
