Children tales

Kalashtar children hear of the gobblers, monsters of darkness that will catch them and bring them north in the cold. Those tales are often used by parents to scare children:
If you don't go to sleep, the gobblers will catch you

Reaching adulthood

One of their most visual rituals is the rituals of passage to adulthood: Everyone gathers around a small forge, and the young clan member walks through with a small cauldron in their hands. Everyone places a small piece of silver, a ring, a hearing, or something made of silver in that cauldron.   As the youngster reaches the middle and the fire, he places his cauldron over the fire that will melt the silver. This melted silver is cast into a ring.   While the ring cools in water, the youngster swears that he'll give his life to the Henkis, after what he put on the silver ring, signifying that he's now an adult.

Death

When a Kalashtar dies, his body is placed on a large bed of wood, and everyone gathers around, singing as the bed is set on fire.
