Invidia

The 6th layer of the seven hells, the layer of envi.
The layer is ruled by Elise Kythera Zaavan and is infected by her spider-like parasite and devils. Deadly insects plague Invidia and their supernatural power allow those pest to overrun this layer. This layer of hell is a giant cobweb and various cocoons and web of the insect under Elise's command plague the land.

Geography

The 6th layer of the seven hells, Invidia is a giant spider web, the proportion of which cannot be grasped by a mortal mind. Large gap in the web let creatures easily access the last layer, Superbia if they dare to take this leap of faith. Large cocoons of silk form hanging nests in which cities of devils and parasites grow.

Kyzath

Kyzath is the largest city in Invidia and the hub of activities in this layer of hell, built inside an enormous web cocoon, the city is also home to the silk palace of the spider archdevil Elise. Rare are the none devil that came to this city, as it is deep within the seven hells.

Desiccated Garden

Elise’s spider-web choked home in Invidia Pits holds a dizzying array of individual caves and cocoons. The Desiccated Garden is one of them, tended by a lich named Dhalmarn. When a victim dies in the Demonweb Pits as a result of Spider venom, the body is brought to Dhalmarn where he and his attendant servants string up the corpse and preserve it in its dried husk state for all eternity. Countless bodies hang in the garden by silken threads of delicate spider webbing, and the lich has gone quite insane over the centuries, talking to the bodies as if they were alive. Dhalmarn’s instability is tolerated by Elise because the lich commands a great deal of knowledge about undead and the process for preserving bodies. His laboratory in the Desiccated Garden contains hundreds upon hundreds of jars of fluid, the remnants of the victims that now hang, though for what purpose is not yet known.

Features

Hazard

Web. Creature that lacks the spider climb ability move on Invidia as if it was difficult terrain.
Swarm of spiders. A swarm of spiders in Invidia can be distracting and downright dangerous under the wrong circumstances. Each swarm spreads out to cover an area many hundreds of feet wide, and until they walk away the sound and tension of the giant web disrupts concentration. Creatures concentrating on an effect must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or lose the effect they are concentrating on every minute they remain within 300 of a spider swarm. Creating an effect that requires concentration requires a DC 15 Constitution to succeed in the area.

Ruler

Elise rule over Invidia, and which to take over Asmodeus position. Unlike Fury elise do not necessarily wish to kill Asmodeus, but seek his power and position, and her layer of hell is the closest to Superbia in which Asmodeus is hiden.
