Lumaroot
Lumaroot is a common spice in stews and other dishes. It is a surface-dwelling plant and needs the sun's rays in order to survive. However, it can survive without light in extremely fertile soil. The plant radiates a bluish-white glow, making it easy to spot in the wild. It is named for its unique luminescent properties, and is highly sought after by chefs and alchemists for its distinct flavor and versatility in potions and remedies.
Mechanically
