Sahuagin
Sahuagin, also known as the sea devils or fish head, are an intelligent race living in underwater cities of Sahuanoy in the Calamity Bay.
They also have a very particular way of keeping lore, using what they call singing bundles—conchs and shells supported by bone and sinew. When shaken, they make the clicking and hissing sounds of the sahuagin language.
When going to war, sahuagin follow a certain protocol called the Laws of Battle. Sometimes, however, a group of the sea devils forms a so-called Wild Hunt, which goes on a frenzied rampage, ignoring all rules.
Females develop specks of yellow on their tails, which grow in number until the whole tail is of a deep yellow color. At that point, the female is no longer considered fit for mating.
Desperate to protect their people, the ruler of the Sahaguins decided to seek aid from even deeper within the abyss. A champion was chosen to brave the perilous depths and search for a titan capable of intimidating these abyssal predators into submission.
During the champion's absence, calamity struck the Sahaguins' city. Strange and ferocious creatures attacked, causing devastation and taking the lives of thousands. However, the champion managed to make a pact with Tromokratis, a formidable and ancient titan. In exchange for the titan's protection, the Sahaguins pledged unwavering reverence and worship, promising to carry Tromokratis's name throughout every ocean.
The champion raced back to the city, accompanied by the titan itself. Together, they swiftly defeated the abyssal predators that had been plaguing the Sahaguins.

Religion
Sahuagin worship Tromokratis, a Titan, and take religion very seriously. Land dwellers know little about the majority of this cult and what is known inspires fear in them. Sahuagins hold their priests, capable of using Magic which they believe to come from deities of the deep, in high esteem.Characteristics
Physical features
Sahuagin are usually green-skinned; darker on the back and lighter on the belly. Many have dark stripes, bands, or spots, but these tend to fade with age. An adult male sahuagin stands roughly 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall and weighs about 200 pounds (91 kilograms). Sahuagin are fish-like, with webbed feet and hands, gills, and a finned tail. There is additional webbing down the back, at the elbows and, notably, also where Human ears would be. Some sahuagin develop towering physiques, reaching 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall.Females develop specks of yellow on their tails, which grow in number until the whole tail is of a deep yellow color. At that point, the female is no longer considered fit for mating.
Mutations
About one in every 216 hatchlings possesses four functional arms. Known as "barons", these four-armed mutations are often black, fading to gray in color. While sahuagin usually kill off defective hatchlings, they allow these to live.History
A new Patron
The Calamity Bay has always served as the ancestral home of the Sahaguins, a civilization with a history far older than most recorded records. However, as the world underwent changes and the oceans warmed, fierce predators from the deepest trenches became increasingly bold. Other Sahagin settlements had fallen silent, succumbing to the threats of these abyssal predators.Desperate to protect their people, the ruler of the Sahaguins decided to seek aid from even deeper within the abyss. A champion was chosen to brave the perilous depths and search for a titan capable of intimidating these abyssal predators into submission.

War with the tritons
In ages long past, the tritons launched an assault on the Sahuagin residing in what would later be termed the Calamity Bay. The Sahuagin were shielded by Tromokratis, the Kraken, who obliterated the invading forces, exacting a heavy toll on the tritons in order to safeguard his devoted followers. The tritons, facing the wrath of Tromokratis, fled for their life, following their king to the somber bay. Together, they established a new settlement in the somber sea, offering hope for peace to the Tritons. Faced with the overwhelming power of Tromokratis, the Tritons sought allies in the form of sea elves and Merfolk, collectively forming the Great Sea Civilization. In the midst of the battle, as Tromokratis led an all-out assault against the united forces of the sea elves, merfolks, and tritons, the situation grew ever bleaker. Sahuagin armies clashed with the merfolk of the Mermaid path. It was during these harrowing moments that the Triton King, a valiant and noble leader, faced Tromokratis alongside champions of the sea elves and merfolk. Together, they harnessed the power of the magic-imbued crystal, determined to seal the Titan's might. However, in the epic confrontation that ensued, the Triton King made the ultimate sacrifice, giving his life to protect his people and seal Tromokratis' devastating power.General Information
