Sewant mushrooms

The Sewant mushrooms are a type of fungi that are commonly found growing in sewers and caves. They are known for their distinctive appearance, with a dark, slimy cap and long, thin stem. While they are edible, they are not considered a desirable food source due to their strong, musty odor and gritty texture.   However, it is the belief of the people from the northern regions of Siniadòr , particularly the Duchy of Freed, that these mushrooms are cursed. They believe that consuming Sewant mushrooms will bring bad luck and misfortune. The belief is so strong that many people avoid them altogether, and those who do consume them often do so with great reluctance. The origins of this belief are unknown, but it is thought to be rooted in superstition and fear. Despite this, some brave souls still gather these mushrooms in secret to sell them as a delicacy to the other parts of the empire.

Mechanically
