Void

Past the Inner Planes, nothing link the planes together, no ethereal plane stand at the edge of the planes, nothingness is all encompassing and this nothingness is called the Void. It's existence is not common knowledge, but it is spoken of among most races and cultures. Few people have ever been to The Void, and even fewer have returned. When you enter The Void, concept of Time and space cease to exit, nothing and everything is here.

The Void is the begining and the end of all things, everything ends in the void, yet everything was birthed from the void too. The void is the realm the last home of souls, after a second reincarnation, the soulsof the dead just cease to exist, and they end in the void.

The Void does not have any clear ends, it is just infinite, at the same time it isn't. It is more like a dream world, where anything can happen. No living person will ever be able to fully understand it. If you survive a Void trip, you will almost certainly have acquired a greater understanding of the whole Universe, and the essence of existence itself, but one thing is known for certain. You're never going to be the same.

Getting There

One do not get to the void, as the void is nowhere and everywhere, it is the frontier between the outer plane, yet it cannot be reached and cannot be touched.

When something cease to exist, when something disappear, it end in the void. Struck by a disintegration spell? your body is now floatting in the void. A failed plane shift make a group of advneturers disappear? If they didn't land on a random plane, they're now in the void.

The Temple of the Void is a structure located in the city of Mirage. This temple is considered to be a gateway to the void, where a portal is said to open to the infinite nothingness.

Creatures & Denizens

Powerful & Mighty

The Void is also home to cosmic horrors and aberrations that have never been seen in the prime material realm. The great old ones, ancient and powerful beings that threaten to destroy all of existence, are rumored to float in the endless void. In addition, ancient gods such as Kur, the Dragon god of the void, are said to dwell here, their very presence causing madness and terror to all who approach them.

These beings are not to be trifled with, as they possess power beyond the understanding of mortal minds. To venture into the Void is to risk Death, madness, or worse. It is a place that should be avoided at all costs, for those who dare to delve into its depths risk losing their minds and their souls to the horrors that reside within.

Denizens

Soul-Eaters are grand beasts of The Void, that eats the souls entering their domains. They have the ability to alter the forms of a soul they have devoured, giving them the ability to lure their prey into traps or other hidden places where they peacefully can kill and feast on it.
