This world is an alteration of the Forgotten Realms, set in Faerûn, continent of Toril.
In this version of the world, a catastrophic event, for which no one has any recollection (nor written works), called the Great War shook the world. The following events set in the Forgotten Realms happened before the Great War, and thus are mostly irrelevant to the actual lore:
