Driftwood Tavern

the sign painted on a hodge podge of stained glass. It reads "DRIFTWOOD" the door is covered in ornate door knobs and knockers   The building is OLD bric-a-brac, curios, and relics of Neverwinter's history. The statue from a fountain stands in a corner. A wine seller's planter boxes, filled with flowers, brighten the walls. Letters from various signs spell out "PRIVY" on a door in the back. Ornate doors make fine tables, and unbroken panes of stained glass hang overhead as chandeliers, lit by hundreds of carefully placed candles. Though the decorations have been salvaged, the tavern feels curated, not junky   The Driftwood Tavern is a fine inn and tavern, which also doubled as a museum, located in the Blacklake District of Neverwinter. The Driftwood Tavern is decorated with curios and relics of Neverwinter before its fall. Old statutes decorated its corners, ornate doors pulled from the wreckage doubled as fine tables, and unbroken panes of stained glass hung overhead as chandeliers. The patrons of the Driftwood Tavern believed this was a proper way to honor the past of the City of Skilled Hands.   The front of the building features two large windows made from a patchwork of old stained glass on either side of a large double door rounded on top and covered with old door knobs and knockers. Inside there are plenty of tables and booths with fine chairs and even thrones to sit at from old manors. Along the left wall, the bar stretches nearly the length of the building. One table by the window up from and back walls of the kitchen on the other end next to bathrooms. On the bathroom door “PRIVY” is spelled out in mismatched letters from old signs.
There are five rooms up the stairs next to the privy.   Prices for rooms are high as Madame Rosene tries to disuade people from staying there so she can run her dealings with THE HARPERS in peace.
Beneath the building — a series of halls leads from a cask cellar to the meeting room of the harpers.   There is a staircase at the back that goes up and over top the privy. there's a back room you assume is the kitchen with swinging doors   glassy amber liquid pours from the tap bringing with it the scent of acorns and nuts. “Un refreshingly cool—Knockings.” Madame Rosene places it gently on the outer edge of the bar
