The Ugly Flame

Tavern famous (or infamous) for the fireplace at the center which continuously burns with the blue flames of the Spellplague.

There are a few brave (or foolish) enough to attempt the house game of "Firing Squad" where a group of patrons operates a large set of dwarven bellows supposedly pilfered from the lost city of Gauntlegrym fanning the flames while the contestant attempts to leap over the fires and snatch a flag dangling from a chain before the fires burn it to a crisp. Getting burned by the flames can expose one directly to remnants of the spellplauge. Those burned often find themself marred for life in painful ways, some gaining or losing magical abilities in the process.
