Chapter 4: Session 3 - Deep Dives and Jives with Gems

General Summary

After capturing the ships that tried to board and overtake the ShipFaced, the crew began to look at the damages and make repairs. One of the biggest problems that arose was the damage to the residum crystal that powers the ship, a crack within the crystal rendered it powerless. The group began to assess the situation and see what their options were and came to the conclusion that the crystal could have the damaged section cut off and would restore the flow of energy through the crystal to power the ship. Bumble and Blovik took to the diving down to ship wreckages that were not too far away from where they were and was able to salvage. With luck, they found almost exactly what they needed in order to fix the ship's crystal. 
Aleph using his ancestry as a astral elf, communed with his ancestors to bestow the knowledge of gem cutting into his mind which allowed him the ability to tend to the damaged crystal. With only a slightly close call, Aleph was able to fix the ship's crystal and restore its power. There was a loss of effiency and the ship now moves 7 MPH instead of 8 MPH but its fully restored otherwise. Attaching their new acqusition of ship, The Dive, with chains - Captain Bumble activated the engines and the ship rose with its new ship attached via many strong chains to have it be a second hanging ship. With this new victory on their shoulders, they take off again towards the Isles of Anamn to hopefully stop the ripping of the elemental rift.
