Petragow Outpost
A small island off the northern Cyradonian coast, and one of the first human settlements on Cyradon. Originally functioning as a sort of gateway to the larger island, Petragow is now little more than a forgotten bit of history, desperately clinging to its last threads of life.
Government
The official governing body of the outpost is the Mayor, Bruce Melling. With such a small population and dwindling economy though, the title of Mayor is simply that - a title.
Industry & Trade
Being such a remote location, trade is very limited and in recent years has all but stopped. The small settlement still has an abundance of fresh food, medicine, and even liquor and spirits, all thanks to a large greenhouse with an extensive collection of fruits, vegetables, herbs, and other plants.
History
Petragow Outpost was the first human settlement of Cyradon. The settling of the outpost marked the official beginning of the Cyradonian calendar (1,1,000cr). In its early years, Petragow was a bustling trading hub, serving as the first point of contact for new settlers as well as supply drops.
As the incoming settlers spread across the mainland of Cyradon and the flow of incoming ships began to slow, Petragow dwindled from a bustling city to a small outpost.
Geography
The small island is fairly flat around the outside, sloping up into a large hill in the center of the island. The central hill made for a good location to build a lighthouse for the incoming ships.
