Library of the Raven Knight

"It seems a devastating and sudden end befell the people who last lived here. Nothing left but dusty tomes and brittle bones."

A massive, old and quite ornate library that has easily stood against the tests of time and element. Several tattered flags adorn its peaks, and it seems to be in a state of misuse, if not mild disrepair.

A beautiful courtyard sits in the middle, where one can imagine many children chased bugs around the fountain in years past. Alas yet, it stands still and overgrown.

Guilds and Factions

This old, for the New World, library has been passed around by various sects and religions over the years; mostly those of the evil domain. Originally under the domain of Shar and built by her followers who felt shunned by the people of New Waterdeep, it was eventually left to rot when Shar's faith begain to fall apart in 1385 DR.

Soon after, a small band of Zehir devotees claimed the library but seemed to have befallen a sudden and grim fate, cut off from their long defeated God.

History

As documented by the up and coming scholar and inventor, Link Shadow, in year 1479 DR; the Library seems to have been hiding an underground complex that housed the remains of a young dragon and many artifacts pertaining to the previous Sharran inhabitants. What this all means, however, requires further research.
