History of Orcs

At the beginning of time the Gods of the dwarves, elves, gnomes, halflings, humans and Orcs began to divide the parts of the world. The Orc gods were cheated by the others and left with nothing. Gruumsh, the chief Orc god, has longed for the day when the Orcs can seize the land that rightfully belongs to the Orcs. Long ago Corellon , the patron god of all the elves, had a consort named Araushnee. Araushnee was the goddess of the dark elves. They had twins together, the younger of which was Eilistraee.
Araushnee’s ambitions grew and an alliance was formed between she and Gruumsh to bring down the other elven gods. The plan failed. Araushnee was turned into a demon and was exiled. She changed her name to Lolth and conquered the 66th layer of the Abyss, the Demon web pits. She is known as the spider queen the drow abandoned the other elves and follow Lolth in the darkness.
Eilistraee, was caught up in the plans of her mother but in the end sided with her father and was instrumental in saving his life. She was forgiven but chose to be exiled. Eilistraee is the chaotic good goddess of the drow who are seeking an alternative to their society. She leads an effort to free the drow from Lolth. Gruumsh felt betrayed by Lolth. Although he hates all the elven gods, his hatred for Lolth burns strong than all the rest. His hatred for Lolth carries over to the drow.
