Personal history

Jacquette is a confident person. Ignorant of others perceptions of her. she likes adventure. she likes to help people. Shel likes to be part of a bigger adventure, a bigger story than just herself. This is really what motivates her. Her parents managed a zoo. She grew up as an only child, left by her parents to play in the zoo. Since she was a child, the animals trusted her and she trusted them. She learned to "speak" with the animals, so they could communicate though not in traditional ways. Her best memories: playing hide and seek with the monkeys   So sad when she found her parents dead by the lions den. Neither the lions or nearby pandas claimed any knowledge. The mystery of her parents death and her lose of them remains the greatest sadness of her life. Her parents' death left her the zoo, which she managed until she could train others to take over the zoo while she went to college. She has never been back.

Alice's Forestland

Since we last met, I’ve been called on a private mission. My dear friend, Alice, sent me an urgent note by raven. She was desperately upset. Her new gentleman caller had left her. She had such hopes, poor Alice. It took time, but I found her in her hut near the Misty Forest. She told me the story of her love, Xander Foe. Seems he was only after one thing: her unicorn. Beautiful Buttercup came to Alice several months earlier. Buttercup and Alice bonded quickly and had set to work with the woodland creatures when he entered the picture. Xander Foe – oh that devil – came swooping in as a animal “healer.” So charming was he that Buttercup – with all his wisdom and insight – was almost taken in. You can just imagine poor Alice. It was like she was under a spell. Poor thing. Well, just as suddenly as he came in, that devil up and left without a word. Buttercup said only that he saw him leave. We know that there is more to it, but you try to get a Unicorn to talk when it doesn’t want to. Well, the woodland creatures persuaded Alice to forget her troubles. Those little tender critters suffering so. They have dandruff and dry skin. You know what happens with this? The poor things scratch themselves endlessly. And their skin is just torn to pieces. Large areas scratched bare of its fur. Scabbing and infections in some extreme cases. Not to worry all of you about this. Buttercup and Alice, and I now that I’m here, created a salve that seemed to calm the irritation. Alice and I also fashioned little mittens for the creatures. They’ll be less tempted to scratch. Buttercup thinks that the anminals are scratching from dragon acid left on the plants when Troas was in the forest. This is now my calling, until my work here is done.
