The tabaxi is based on the cat.
Like regular cats, tabaxi are fast, fierce and elegant, coming from stealth or distance to strike, often vanishing against afterwards. But tabaxi are as varied in abilities and personalities as regular cats, which means you never know what to expect from one.

Class Considerations
Because of their speed and dexterity, they make solid martial characters, but really thrive as rogues, especially with the natural climbing ability. Their Charisma bonus means that classes like sorcerer or warlock are also worth considering, especially since they can get into position for their castings much more easily.
