Zikran's Zephyrean Tome
This heavy tome has covers of white marble bound in pale blue leather. A large padlock prevents the book from being opened. This book contains 108 mostly blank pages made of tissue-thin, white papers. It emits a soft breeze whenever a page is turned.
Purpose
It can be gathered that Zikran is a Water Genasi Wizard. The book seems to be a repurposed spell book in what you assume is Zikran's handwriting. It seems the spells were magically removed from the pages and it was repurposed as Zikran's magical studies journal. Sections of the journal discusses notes on Denizens of the Inner Planes (especially the Wind Dukes of Aaqu; powerful beings of elemental air), djinn & the like. There is a 10+ page section that contain various notes that indicate Zikran located many elementals, some fey, and some other planar beings. He trapped them and forced them into servitude (those he didn't kill or that could escape). Zikran has several pages noting his attempts to trap a Djinni (named Gazre-Azam) before finally succeeding. He used Gazre-Azam to gather information on how to summon & bind otherworldly beings. He also wanted information on creating elemental devices, with an ultimate goal of creating a floating castle fortress Zikran made the Djinn his servant when he would no longer cooperate. There are 8 pages after that notate the dijinni's behavior during his servatude to Zikran, with Zikran being excessively cruel, testing his control over the Djinn. It seems after sometime Zikran trapped Gazre-Azam in an item as punishment for disrespect. This is the last his journal really mentions the djinn.
