The Myth of Kyroz

It was in the 4th year of the Second War of Annihilations that the hordes of Gruumsh One Eye had assembled on the planes of Murgos. The horde was an endless sea of the twisted children of Gruumsh, the vilest orcs and looming trolls and among them goblinoids of all kinds. they had massed there ready to assault the mountain fastness of the Dwarves at Gundabad, their foul god wished to destroy the dwarves and their gods.
There before the vast war host of Gruumsh came a lone dwarf who was Kyroz and more than Kyroz. And from him came a voice so great that all amassed could hear and understand it. He spoke and said "low! Know that I have come against you! Know me and despair". And all who heard the voice knew that Gormgulthyn god of righteous war and the Protector of the Dwarves had come. Kyroz Champion of Gormgulthyn raised his shining axe high and it's light blinded the ranks of orcs and then he was among them, his axe cleaving life and his shield arresting every blow. Kyroz who was Gormgulthyn tore through the horde of One Eye, sowing discord and panic with each each mighty swing. And then it was that the Dwarves of Gundabad came, appearing from concealment in the surrounding hills and they fell upon the Orcs each Dwarves striving to follow the shining axe of Kyroz.
The embattled orcs fell back from Kyroz who cut them down with the relentless blows of miner with a pickaxe. Soon he came to the center of the horde a bloody swath behind him and came upon Uzbath the Pitiless, Chief warlord of the Orc clans and instrument of Gruumsh vile will. The orc chief called to Kyroz and his shout was a challenge "Gormgulthyn I name you! Abandon thy Dwarves I claim them!". Kyroz's answer was a charge his axe still ablaze with power his stroke was turned by the heavy blade of Uzbath awash in a dark power coating the blade in red. All who saw the clash knew that the power of gods lay in each blow.
Back and forth the duel raged and all around the two figures the mortal struggle between the Dwarves of Gundabad and the Horde seethed. With many great strikes the Orcish warchief drove Kyroz to a knee and clove his great shield in two. Kyroz surprised Uzbath throwing forth a blast of light that threw the brute from him. Gaining his feet again the fight was rejoined axe and greatsword met and met again great showers of sparks thrown from each blow. Until the inferior metal of the Orcish blade showed and even with the power of a god Uzbath's Greatsword was shattered in a great conflagration. With a final stroke Kyroz took the head of Gruumsh's failed champion. Gruumsh One Eye was driven from the field by the power of Gormgulthyn and without the backing of their god the Horde fell quickly those who could not flee were cut down many thousands of Orcish dead covered the battlefield.
