Sale is hundreds of years old, having served Szass Tam and many of his predecessors. He is very involved with Havarlan's children and is the person you speak to when wanting to speak to Szass Tam.

He is a rather self-serving person and quite the germaphobe. While he would give his life away for his master he cannot stand the smell of his masters undead nature.
