Erian The Spirit of The Wolf

Erian the shadow wolf is a shadow of Erian the man, conjured forth by the evil that threatens the Moonshaes. Memories of his life flicker at the edges of his perception. He now exists to destroy and kill. In the ancient and mystical land of the Moonshaes, where the veil between the material world and the ethereal realms is thin, a dark legend tells of Erian, the Wolf Spirit. Erian is said to be a demonic wolf of immense power, lurking in the shadows, yearning to overthrow the benevolent influence of the Earth Mother, the deity revered by the people of the Moonshaes for her nurturing and protective presence. Long ago, it is said that Erian was once a guardian spirit, tasked with protecting the delicate balance of nature in the Moonshaes. However, consumed by jealousy and a thirst for power, Erian turned to dark forces that corrupted his once noble essence. In a twisted pact with malevolent entities, Erian became a harbinger of chaos, seeking to unleash his malevolence upon the unsuspecting inhabitants of the Moonshaes.   To prevent Erian's wrath, the followers of the Earth Mother established a sacred tradition. Every hundred years, the temples dedicated to the Earth Mother must be consecrated in a powerful ritual that strengthens the protective wards and maintains the seal on Erian's malevolence. The heart of this ritual is the Temple of the Moon, a sacred place where the ethereal energies of the moon are harnessed to reinforce the barriers that keep Erian at bay.   Should the consecration fail or be neglected, and Erian's seal in the Temple of the Moon is weakened, the demonic wolf spirit gains the opportunity to extend his influence to the Temple of the Sun. Once there, he can unleash calamity and devastation upon the Moonshaes, causing the very land to rebel against its inhabitants.   The legend warns of the signs that herald Erian's impending release – blood-red moons, howling winds that echo with eerie growls, and shadowy figures prowling the edges of dreams. The people of the Moonshaes, aware of the consequences of neglecting their sacred duty, come together in times of crisis to rekindle the ritual and restore the strength of the Earth Mother's protective veil.   Erian's legend serves as a reminder to the people of the Moonshaes to honor their connection with the land and to safeguard the delicate balance of nature. The Temple of the Moon stands as both a beacon of hope and a guardian against the encroaching darkness, and the people, in their eternal vigilance, strive to ensure that Erian's demonic influence never finds its way into the heart of their cherished homeland.   Erian is finally released after thousands of years by an adventurer named Binzo Saisun and the adventurers tasked to consecrate the earthmother temples fail to do so properly. He is able to bide his time as he grows his influence in the temple of the sun.
