King Grol
King Grol was a fierce old bugbear that ruled the Cragmaws through pure intimidation. Although age had stooped his shoulders, hunched his back and greyed his fur, Grol was still surprisingly agile…and especially strong. This great strength was likely the result of a pair of enchanted gauntlets he wore.
No other Cragmaws dared to cross the demanding and vidictive King Grol, not even the ambitious Klarg (not directly anyway). Grol was always attended by his large pet wolf, Snarl and a pair of hobgoblin guards.
Grol and his Cragmaw goblins had been hired by the Black Spider to capture Gundren Rockseeker and his map.
3/1/1:
Nezznar visits King Grol and pays a hefty fee to get him to order the cragmaw to capture any shipments of mining materials.
3/10/1:
Nezznar asks King Grol to hardcore attack Phandalin and then attack all of them in attempt to capture a dwarf named Gundren
3/21/1:
King Grol gets a visit by the goblins who attacked Phandalin who bring back Gundren. Gundren arrives to Cragmaw Castle where the leader King Grol tortures him out of the location for the Map to the Wave Echo Cave, the Dwarf is resistant and resists 7 full days of torture until he gives up the location of the Wave Echo Cave. This pained him since he knew he would be putting his brothers in danger . He was given a day of rest and thought he was going to be executed.
3/22/1:
KING GROL PUTS GUNDREN IN A CELL TO STARVE TO DEATH
King Grol asked Gundren who else was knows about the location of the cave or even its exisistance and Gundren refuses to give any sort of information. This upsets King Grol even more and continues his torture. Gundren Persists and does not reveal a thing this pushed King Grol to let Gundren rot in his Cell for the remainder of his life.

HALIA ARRIVES AT CRAGMAW CASTLE
Halia arrives at King Grol's Cragmaw Castle to learn what King Grol got out of Gundren, Halia knowing who knows tells King Grol to expect a visit by a group of adventurers and to not fail in killing them.

Goblin Scouts capture Elanor
4/5/1:
Yegg was cooking up something delicious for everyone when he heard lots of commotion coming from the front of the Castle.Although he already let Amber and Isac escape he decided it waas more important to capture one alive to take to King Grol. Thats when he took an unconsciouss Phalux to King Grol. King Grol congratulates Yegg on the capture and sends him to make sure no one else is left around here. Phalux finds a hole and is able to escape but he refuses to leave without Elanor so he stays back to fight the leader of the Cragmaws King Grol. Phalux refuses to retreat and so Isac and Amber support him in taking down the leader of the Cragmaws King Grol. King Grol easily takes them down and throws them into a prison.
4/6/1:
Amber gets interrogated by King Grol to find out who else knows about the Wave Echo Cave. this ends up costing Phalux a pinky for lying to King Grol earlier. A deal is later worked out by Phalux and king Grol and Phalux is set free. As Gogo, Pippy, and Aurthum were about to go back to Cragmaw Castle, Phalux comes out of nowhere and tells the group that King Grol negotiated with him to entrap the squad so they have to go carefully. They split up and Gogo goes on his own around the castle. A goblin finds out that Phalux was betraying them so the Goblin ran past Gogo who told King Grol about the betrayal, this led to a big combat. A combat that would end up in Gogo getting his head chopped off right in front of Pippy's eyes. Pippy is in a rage but knows he cannot do anything to fight against King Grol, so he runs away.
As Pippy is running away in tears he bumps into a group of armed guards. These guards are in search for Elanor. Pippy pleads with the guards that Elanor is captured by King Grol. One of the guards named Zeldron aggrees to go ahead and fight with Pippy. Pippy and the group get to King Grol and Pippy kills King Grol taking away his staff.
6/20/1:
King Grol's Spirit Manifests in front of Yimeek he passes on but gives him power in a vow for revenge against Pippy as they both suffered because of the halfling
