Mirna Drendar
Mirna was born in the small village of Thundertree, a peaceful community nestled amidst the lush forests and rolling hills. Her childhood was filled with laughter, exploration, and the warmth of a close-knit community. Her father, a skilled alchemist, owned a modest yet thriving alchemy shop that served the villagers with potions, remedies, and elixirs.
Life was idyllic until the fateful day when a fearsome dragon, known as Venomfang, descended upon Thundertree. The village was engulfed in chaos as people fled in terror, seeking safety from the creature's destructive rampage. Mirna's father, however, made the courageous decision to stay behind and protect his beloved alchemy shop, knowing the devastation that awaited his home.
With a heavy heart, Mirna and her mother joined the panicked exodus of villagers, leaving behind her father and the life they had known. They sought refuge in Phandalin, a nearby town, where they hoped to rebuild their lives and find solace from the tragedy that had befallen Thundertree.
Despite the distance, Mirna's heart remained tethered to her hometown, longing for the day when peace would return and Thundertree could be restored. As she grew older, Mirna nurtured an unyielding determination to reclaim her family's heritage and honor her father's sacrifice.
Mirna's mother, recognizing her daughter's resilience and fierce spirit, encouraged her to pursue her dreams and become a beacon of hope for their family and Thundertree. Mirna immersed herself in knowledge, eagerly learning about alchemy, herbs, and potions, seeking to master the craft her father had left behind.
Her path crossed with Thel Drendar, a skilled woodcarver who captured her heart with his talent and kindness.
After marrying Thel, Mirna embraced her role as a supportive wife and loving mother. She shared Thel's dreams of a prosperous and fulfilling life for their family. Mirna took on the responsibility of managing the household and ensuring their children received the best upbringing possible.
When Thel's woodworking business began to thrive, Mirna reveled in the joy of seeing her husband's hard work paying off. However, the couple's happiness was marred by the menacing presence of the Redbrands. Mirna loathed their oppressive control over the town and the fear they instilled in the community. She admired Thel's refusal to bow down to their demands, even though it put their family at risk.
This however ended up going wrong, the redbrands killed Thel and imprisoned Mirna and her kids.
